Internet dating was a very exciting thing to many people. With the internet, people would be able to meet others in a safe and convenient environment. They were no longer restricted to friends and their place of residence. While online dating looked to be quite exciting, it has its drawbacks and negatives. According to Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe, things such as stalking, trolling, and revenge porn become widespread. This created a lot of aggressive behavior by people who were looking to antagonize other people. However, Whitney Wolfe has looked to create a website where actions such as kindness, complimenting and treating women respectfully would become the standard. She has been able to do this with her new site Bumble.

By creating the website Bumble, users are able to participate in social networking that is constructive as well as pleasant. Users can contact one another and provide support and compliments on a regular basis. This creates a healthy environment for people to make friends as well as seek dating partners more efficiently.
