Dr. Ira Kirschenbaum, the executive director and founder of Medscape Orthopaedic, a web-based health system, is the chairman of the Bronxcare health system orthopaedic section. Orthopaedic is a branch of health care that focuses on the realignment of ligaments, muscles, and bone in general but the doctor focuses on specializes on issues to do with bones and joints especially the knees, shoulders and hip surgeries.
